sorts of places that you like to use or visit again. I'm sure we probably have

How far is it? - Find the latitude and longitude of two places, then calculate the distance between them. (sort of as the crow flies...)

Time Zones of the World - What time is it there?

Worldtime - Is it daylight where your friends live? This site features an interactive world atlas, information on local time as well as sunrise and sunset times in several hundred cities, and a database of public holidays worldwide. You can actually turn the Earth and see where the sun is shining right now.

The List: The Definitive List of Internet Service Providers - Claims to be the most comprehensive and accurate directory of ISPs .

Netzero.com - Free Internet access with local dial-up from many US cities. Also good for a back-up ISP in case your regular ISP is having some problems. My mom and niece use this and it works great for them. I use it for a back-up ISP. After awhile you barely notice that advertising banner they require you to keep on your screen. :-)

Urban Legends - Are people continually forwarding bizarre Internet myths to you?! You know the ones: The Disney/Microsoft $5000 e-mail contest, the Mrs. Fields or Neiman Marcus $250 cookie recipe vendetta, that kind of thing... Well, when your friends pass along those "too good or weird to be true" stories to you, send them to this sight and watch the sheepish looks appear on their faces.
